Last Breath is a deep-sea survival documentary directed and produced by Richard da Costa and made by Floating Harbour / MetFilm. The project grew out of Lifeline (2012), a 45-minute film Richard made after meeting saturation diver Chris Lemons and the dive support vessel team involved in the incident. Developed into a feature with finance from Netflix, BBC, Creative Scotland and ARTE, the film was produced on a £1.34m budget and premiered in London, with its international premiere at Hot Docs in Toronto.

Built from first-hand testimony, ROV archive and carefully staged reconstructions, Last Breath reconstructs the minutes that followed when Chris was cut off on the seabed with only five minutes of oxygen and no immediate rescue. The film won RTS West awards for Best Documentary and Best Director, reached number one on Netflix and streamed worldwide from 2019 to 2024. The story was later dramatised as a Hollywood feature, on which Richard da Costa was credited as executive producer.
