Strategic Media Partner for the West of England Combined Authority
We have made films for the West of England Combined Authority since 2016: more than a dozen film projects, most producing several films each, for teams across the Combined Authority. Separately, for its democratic services, we have livestreamed more than fifty public committee meetings.
Much of the film work has been about climate and nature. For the West of England Nature Recovery team we made the film that launched the region's Local Nature Recovery Strategy; the Bee Bold Awards films celebrate the organisations taking action for pollinators; and Retrofit West is about making the region's homes warmer and lower-carbon. Most recently, Energising Britain (2026) for the South West Net Zero Hub: a day at M Shed with the people turning climate ambition into practical action.
The rest ranges across the region's economy and communities: the Good Employment Charter, Love Local, Atlantic Charter 80, the space sector film, 5G Logistics and the creative sector film made at Wildscreen, where our relationship with the Combined Authority began in 2016. Every film has to meet the accuracy and accessibility a public body answers for, and still be something people want to watch.
