Chrysalis Courses Commercial

We have worked with Chrysalis Courses for many years. At first we were commissioned to make company introductory films for their website and then films discussing course content. In 2023 that turned into their annual social media campaigns, a collaboration that has become one of our most creative ongoing relationships.

It began with "The Chair", an unforgettable campaign that saw us dropping real chairs against a green screen backdrop at locations across Bristol, a bold visual metaphor that made a big impact online. For the 2024/5 campaign we developed a Groundhog Day inspired concept exploring the idea that becoming a counsellor can break you out of life's repetitive cycle.

For the 2026 campaign Chrysalis wanted more films from the same budget. We worked out a way to film all of their top five concepts, plus a sixth on holistic therapy featuring a reflexologist, a masseuse and an acupuncturist, in two days: one crew in a virtual production studio, where LED backdrops and simple props make each scene feel real, and another out on locations around Bristol. The shoot ran in mid October 2025 with a prelight and test day beforehand, and six adverts were delivered in December, each in landscape and portrait versions for every platform. The scripts were written with Chrysalis around the questions their students actually ask, down to the line about fitting study around a family, which was changed to reflect the one weekend day a month spent in class.

These short, dynamic films are designed to engage audiences instantly, delivering a clear and empowering message: you can change your life by becoming a counsellor. Each campaign has lifted engagement and driven more sign-ups from potential students.
