South Gloucesteshire Nature 4

Linking the Levels

The final film in our South Gloucestershire nature recovery series, "Bringing the Seven Levels Back to Life," focuses on one of the region's most vital and historic ecosystems. This project highlights a bold, multi-agency mission to breathe life back into the Severn Estuary, ensuring its wetlands and landscapes are restored, reconnected, and resilient for the future.

Through sweeping aerial cinematography, we captured the true scale of this ambitious undertaking. From the air, the film visualizes a future where wildlife can move freely through a network of thriving habitats, connecting South Gloucestershire to an international community of migratory species. By holding water back in the winter months and restoring natural floodplains, these projects provide a dual benefit: a sanctuary for nature and a protected landscape for the communities downstream.
