Sirona care & health is a not-for-profit community interest company delivering NHS community services across Bath, North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bristol. The organisation provides adult and children's community health services, including district nursing, physiotherapy, health visiting and specialist rehabilitation, reaching communities across a wide geography.
Our work with Sirona
Floating Harbour worked with Sirona to produce their Awards for Excellence across two consecutive years, a flagship internal event recognising outstanding contributions from frontline staff across the organisation. We also produced nominee and category films for the awards themselves.
When the pandemic made traditional in-person ceremonies impossible, Sirona needed a production partner who could deliver the same sense of occasion in a completely new format. We stepped in to design and produce a pioneering hybrid awards show, a fully broadcast-quality live stream that brought together dozens of remote nominees into a single, high-energy programme.
Sirona Awards for Excellence
Working alongside Thomas Heiser of Focal Point Event Management, we delivered an ambitious live production hosted by the BBC's Ali Vowles. The show seamlessly integrated over 60 remote nominees into a fast-paced broadcast, maintaining the prestige and emotional impact of the event in a digital format.
The production combined live presenting, pre-recorded nominee films, remote acceptance speeches and real-time graphics, all managed from our studio facility in Bristol and streamed to staff across the region.
We produced the awards across two years, refining the format each time and building on what we learned from the first event to deliver an even stronger show the second time around.
